Working as a team is a mandatory requisite for tech talent. That is why CodeMonk can hire talents individually as a freelancer, as PSC (Personal Service Company), or as a team.
While team hiring is always an option with CodeMonk, specific team formation and working style changes exist.
Team Formation Basics:
CodeMonk offers the benefit of coordinating with your former colleagues and teammates to form a new team on the platform. There are, however, some basic rules to follow when creating a team on CodeMonk:
Size of the team: The team size should be at least 4 members and a maximum of 8.
Who can form a team? The team members can be your former colleagues/teammates who have worked with you on one or more projects. Talents must have worked with each other on one or more projects before forming a team.
Here is an example of who can form a team on CodeMonk:
If A, B, C, D, E, F...K are 11 team members working on project ‘X.’ A maximum of 8 from the Project X team are eligible to form a ‘team on CodeMonk.’ Only those 4-8 members who are in the project can form a team. [Example: Team A, B, D, F, I, K ] Also, say, you, a team member of project X, have worked on another project ‘Y,’ where there are 1, 2, 3, ...8 members. You can again form another team with the members of project ‘Y.’ So, creating multiple teams with different team colleagues who have worked together on one or more projects is possible on the platform. [Example: Team 1, 2, 5, 6, 7]
However, what is NOT POSSIBLE is a team that contains members from both PROJECT ‘X’ and PROJECT ‘Y.’ [Example: Team with A, B, 3, 4] as team members are not allowed.
Profile Completion and Skill tests Another mandatory factor for forming a team is that all team members should complete their profiles, get vetted by working on the skill tests, and verify their profiles by submitting documents.
Once the team members get vetted and verified, they start appearing on the search options for the clients to hire you out as a team.
