Umoja.money was planning on expansion into global markets, and faced challenges of:

• create a secure and accessible payment gateway for the global investors
• develop a decentralized credit platform to source-in fundings from global investors

• develop a platform for risk-free and safe platform for global investors to access MSMEs in the African and Latin American markets
• covering the last milestone in establishing a global payment ecosystem  

After the initial brainstorming, they realized the need to scale up operations and bring it to a fruitful conclusion.  

While the infrastructure and the complete roadmap were already there, they wanted to accelerate the process. That's when they reached out to Notchup for a solution.  

The idea was to create backend and front-end support through web and mobile applications for payment systems. With so many entities in processing payments, Umoja wanted to put up systems in place that can help transactions to and from partners in African and Latin American markets.

• Establishing a fool-proof testing process to reduce bugs and increase process efficiency

• Create a user-friendly and customer-focused product

With assistance from Notchup's tech team of experts, Umoja’s internal tech team successfully completed a pilot in one of the African markets to achieve their first milestone!
